SOLIDARITY 2009 will be held at the HYATT Regency Hotel and Convention Center , 350 N. High Street, Columbus, OH., April 14 - 16, 2009. The Hyatt provides a welcoming, accessible atmosphere, and all conference activities are on site.
Conference attendees must make their own hotel arrangements. The cost of overnight hotel accommodations is not included in the conference registration fee of $175, with an attendant $225.
Hyatt Room Rate: A special room rate of $119 per night plus tax, for all rooms-single, double, triple or quad-is available to Solidarity attendees. The Hyatt phone number is 1-614-463-1234.
Registration to attend SOLIDARITY are required. Registration materials will be available by mail and at www.dnos.org after January 1, 2009.
Scholarships will be available to eligible participants as described in the registration materials.

A major focus of SOLIDARITY 2009 will be learning about legislative issues affecting citizens with disabilities - including the impact of the State's budget - and practicing your empowerment skills by visiting with your legislators at the Statehouse. Governor Ted Strickland will address the Solidarity audience on Thursday, April 16, 2009. (tentative based on his scheduled)
